About us

Chainline started in 2009 in a railway arch off Station Road, when two mechanics, Sam and Priya, decided they would rather fix bikes for their neighbours than for a chain store. The arch had one bench, one stand and a leaky roof.

Today we have a shop and a proper workshop on Mill Lane. We sell bikes we would ride ourselves, and we fix any make, old or new, wherever you bought it.
